Privacy & cookie policy
This policy explains which personal data NetB BV processes when you visit www.netb.be, why we do so and what rights you have. We collect as little as possible. This website has no contact form, no accounts and no advertising tracking.
1. Who is responsible?
NetB BV, a company registered in Belgium. Our full company details are listed on the Dutch version of this page. For privacy questions, email info[at]netb.be.
2. What data do we process?
Analytics (only with your consent). If you accept cookies, we use Google Analytics 4 to measure how the site is used: pages visited, referring website, device and browser type, approximate location (country or region) and interactions. Google Analytics 4 does not log or store IP addresses. Without consent, Google Analytics is not loaded and nothing is sent to Google.
Technical server logs. Our hosting environment and Cloudflare (which we use for speed and security) process technical data on every visit, such as IP address, time, requested page and browser type. This is needed to keep the site secure and available. These logs are kept briefly and are not used to profile you.
Email. If you email us, we use your name, email address and message only to reply and to follow up on any further cooperation.
3. Legal bases
- Analytics: your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). You can withdraw it at any time.
- Server logs and security: our legitimate interest in keeping the website secure and working (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
- Email: our legitimate interest in answering questions, or steps prior to entering into a contract (Art. 6(1)(b) and 6(1)(f) GDPR).

5. Who do we share data with?
We do not sell personal data. We work with a small number of processors: Google Ireland Ltd (Google Analytics, only after consent), Cloudflare (network and security) and our hosting provider. When data ends up outside the European Economic Area, for example in the United States, this happens under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework or the European Commission's standard contractual clauses.
6. How long do we keep data?
Analytics data in Google Analytics is kept for a maximum of 14 months. Server logs are kept only as long as needed for security and troubleshooting. Emails are kept as long as needed for follow-up and our legal obligations.
7. Your rights
You have the right to access, correct and delete your data, to restrict processing, to data portability and to object. You can withdraw consent at any time. Send your request to info[at]netb.be; we reply within one month.
If you are not satisfied with how we handle your data, you can lodge a complaint with the Belgian Data Protection Authority, Rue de la Presse 35, 1000 Brussels, www.dataprotectionauthority.be.
8. Changes
We update this policy when our website or the law changes. The latest version is always on this page.
